GENE INFORMATION
Piebald creates a white marking of varying natural shapes and coverage.
It is inspired by real like markings such as tobiano and overo found in horses,
but you may also use other animals with piebald genes as your inspiration!
It does not need to be symmetrical.

EXPLANATION AND RULES
Piebald presents as a pattern of cut out patches on the creature's body.
These patches have no pigmentation and are thus always white or off-white in color.
Alternatively, Piebald may mimic white markings in horses like Tobiano and Overo.
You may also take inspiration from genes such as Splash, but be careful not to make it look too much like underbelly!
It can be hard edged or have a slightly textured edge.
Like Hollow, it may have a subtle white halo around the edges.
There is no true minimum for Piebald as long as it's discernible, at maximum it may cover 90% of the body.
Piebald must always be white or off-white in color, but may be affected by so called Skin Pinking.
Be careful not to make Piebald too dark! It should always be white looking.
It can have a slight tint to it as long as the tint stays in the base color range of the creature.
For example, blue tinted Piebald would not be allowed on a creature with a red base without a color modifier.
Piebald is a topmost gene like Hollow, meaning it goes over all other markings unless otherwise specified.
Hollow is the only exception as Piebald and Hollow can go on top of each other.
Piebald should always look natural and not become too stripey in appearance or have too many holes in it.
It is recommended to look at real life examples of animals affected by Piebald.
An easy way to create Piebald is by putting a white layer on the top of your design and then erasing parts of it!
