GENE INFORMATION

Opalescent is an extension gene to Piebald that adds a holographic effect to it.
It may optionally add sparkles around the areas it touches and may white out the eyes of a creature.

COLOR RULES

Opalescent follows its own special rules of colors explained below.

EXPLANATION AND RULES

Opalescent is an extension gene to Piebald and the lighter equivalent of Oilslick.
It follows the normal rules of Piebald, but should have a holopgraphic effect and sheen to it.

Unlike Oilslick where this is optional, Opalescent must present with
an iridescent sheen that clips to the marking, meaning it can't go outside it.
This sheen may mimic different types of holographic sheens seen in real world objects like CDs or holographic fabric.

Opalescent may optionally present with sparkles around the areas where it touches the creature and may also white out the eyes.

At minimum it should visibly appear somewhere on the body or just affect the eyes.
At maximum, like its base gene Piebald, it may cover 90% of the creature.

As it's an extension to Piebald, its base color should always be a tinted grey-ish or white-ish color.
Furthermore, the iridescent colors should be somewhat vibrant and not appear washed out in color saturation.
