GENE INFORMATION
Winter Coat enables your animal to have a secondary, more dull color palette.
It affects the base and all marking genes.
COLOR RULES
This mutation overrides the base color and genes.
EDGE TYPES
Winter Coat has no real edge type as it only affects the colors.
EXPLANATION AND RULES
Winter Coat creates a secondary color palette for animals that is lightened and desaturated.
It may not recolor the Eyes, Flesh or Keratin areas and does not affect Family Marks.
Once you have your normal design finished, copy the .psd and start working on your Winter Coat palette.
The base and all marking genes must be desaturated. You may choose to completely remove all
saturation or to keep some of it.
You may also not edit the shapes of genes in any way, only the colors may be overriden.
The feathers or fur on your creature may optionally be fully white, like many animals in real life.
Once you have both of your designs finished make sure to include them both in design approvals.
