EDGE TYPES

EXPLANATION AND RULES
Tropical's black top layer has a hard or slightly soft edge, while the
colorful bottom layer always presents as a gradient.
The black marking acts as a border for the gradient layer underneath.
The gradient may slightly bleed out of it, and the black marking may fade into the body.
Tropical may present anywhere on the body.
At minimum it must be visible somewhere and at maximum may show on roughly 50% of the body.
It may be asymmetrical if present on limbs, but should remain somewhat symmetrical otherwise.
Tropical is a relatively free marking that can be simple or complex.
You may choose to cut out parts of the top black marking or add to it, or do both.
It may create both natural and unnatural shapes and even resemble blackout tattoos and cutout scenes.
Easy ways to create Tropical is by first placing down a gradient area, then adding the black shapes on top.
Alternatively you can design the dark pattern first and then add the gradient, whichever you deem easier.
These are the two swatches you may use for the black marking of Tropical.
You do not necessarily need to pick from them as long as your chosen color is no brighter or darker than
what's shown and still appears black.
The colors for the gradient underneath may be any of your choosing and do not have to be picked from a base swatch!
The gradient should have two colors at minimum but may have up to four colors total.
