Feathers

If your creature has feathers, either naturally or added via Free Options, they can be colored in very freely,
but must still follow a few sets of rules!

Regardless of the base color of your Import, the feathers may be any color of your choice, or any multiple colors of your choice.
They do not need to be swatch picked either!

You may add any natural patterns to them like gradients, stripes, spots, etc. as long as they remain natural.
This means you cannot add symbols or unnatural shapes onto the feathers of your Import.

Plates & Skin

Plates and Skin areas, like the plates on the back of a Stegosaurus or the wing membranes
of a flyer have a few more rules to them.

They may be any color picked from the base swatch, or lighter or darker than the base itself.
Sails, Plates and Wing Membranes may also be tipped in any color of your choice without needing to pick it from any swatches.

These areas may be affected by marking genes that are on the import, but may not have any other markings on
their own unless its faint gradients or tipped like above.
