EDGE TYPES

EXPLANATION AND RULES
Calico is a hard edged or textured edged, solid marking.
It creates medium to large irregular spots on a creature, with a few smaller stray spots being allowed.
Most of the spots should overlay each other and be present in clusters, but a few stray spots are allowed.
The spots should have a textured edge in the form of fur if mimicking Merle.
If mimicking Koi, they should have an irregular, chewed edge scattered throughout.
Calico has no true minimum or maximum size, but it should show at least two spots and not
cover the entirety of the body.
You can use up to three different natural colors that can be lighter or darker, or up to three different colors that
are lighter or darker than the base.
When using multiple colors: Every spot should be one solid color, so you cannot make gradients or split coloration
for the spots.
