Bar is a gene that mimics the barring on modern birds like Barn Owls, Falcons and Chickens, or Brindle in Dogs.
It presents as horizontal or vertical blobby stripes that sit close together in clusters.
It should be relatively symmetrical.

Bar is a hard edged gene that creates thick, blobby stripes.
They can present both horizontally or vertically.
The striping should never end in a sharp/pointy taper as to avoid mimicking Stripes.

They can only present vertically.
The striping should never end in a sharp/pointy taper as to avoid mimicking Stripes.
At minimum it should present in a single visible cluster somewhere on the creature.
At maximum Bar can cover almost the entire creature.
Bar can be any darker natural color or a color that's darker than the base.
It may optionally fade out into the body.
