Before Fire and Ash
Eperth was a world belonging to humans 10,000 years ago, they created and began terraforming the world for testing, a simple test to prove humans were not a fluke of life. The world flourished and became a tropical paradise not seen since ancient times on earth. The creatures placed there were simple creatures very similar to the exstinct creatures their genetics come from , they lives lives unaware of the humans watching.
However tensions were high in humanity, the company known as Revival Outpost a group mainly based in a large space fairing ark were hired politically, to do something fantastical to get attention. They were tasked with taking a world similar to earth, recreating extinct species to prove that humanity was not special and given the right time and place everything before them could have played humanities roll. Of course due to this being motivated for specific reasons, some more corrupt humans made sure this experiment was a success, skewing results by manipulating the minds of the creatures genetically, to speed things up.
During this experiment humanity suffered an awful war amongst themselves, meaning before the tests could be complete a group of violent humans wiped out the ark, since then space fairing humans have not been seen in all those years. Left to their own the creatures on the planet known as D-42 did indeed evolve.
The World of Now
The world has healed slightly from the injury created by the fallen ark, its two moons still circle it and their 28 hour days continue to flow, the world is now masked by massives storms created by the engine of the ark that fell with half the ship. These storms never stop and have blocked off the smaller islands and areas from the Great Lizard.
The dinosaurs that evovled on the continent now live with langauge, art, jobs etc, the land seems to show very little signs of humanity now with only empty broken shells of buildings being dug up now and then. Using the remnants of humanity on their world they were influenced to create their own society, their own language, scratchings created to be useable by any creature.
They live in a range of ways, some creatures prefer to live as the animals on their planet do, free and unburdened by society, others are the complete opposite living in massive cities working 8-8 Jobs.
There are a few dinosaurs working to uncover how the storms work and to either stop them or pass through them to uncover more of the missing world.
Royal Family and the take over
During the 1st Era of royalty a very strange species of dinosaur began to thrive, they could use the human technology with ease, repair it and create their own, it gave them a jump start to weapon progress, and they used those weapons to take over the Great Lizard, the royal family now control the majority of the continent

As of now royalty is in their 8th generation with them being divided now into two realms King Prophyrios’s land and Queen Xanthe’s land, this divide occurred during the 6th generation of royalty where a civil war took place dividing them into the Queen’s Land and the King’s Land today.
